Named one of Time magazine's "100 Most Influential People"and awarded the National Humanities Medal by President Barack Obama, José Andrés is an internationally-recognized culinary innovator, author, educator, television personality, humanitarian and chef/owner of ThinkFoodGroup. A pioneer of Spanish tapas in the United States, he is also known for his groundbreaking avant-garde cuisine, which has earned him multiple Michelin stars. For the past five years, I've had the privilege of documenting the journey of culinary recipes with West Coast Creative Director, Aitor Lozano, and his team. Here I focus on the culinary inspiration behind SAAM and é, document new dishes and provide a visual platform for cutting-edge modern cuisine.
